Instructions: (no, I didn't miss out "Supplies" read on..............

  1. Cut out a square, circle or oval in the center of your two tags making sure that they match when you put one over the top of the other.

  1. Cut out either lightweight plastic material used for specifically for window pane and shaker cards or you can use transparency material. Cut a shape large enough to leave an overlapping edge but not larger or wider then the tag itself.

  1. Using either double sided tape or something like glue dots, glue the transparencies to the inside of both tags.

  1. Decide what you would like to put in the shaker part of your tag. I have used confetti that says thanks, small scrabble letters, itty bitty beads, sequins etc etc. The possibilities are endless.

  1. Now comes the tricky part. Put glue, double sided tape, or glue dots all around the edge of the window area of the tag. Then add glue, etc. around the outside edges and other areas of the tag that doesn't have the "window". Put the two tags together at the bottom but hold the window area and the top of the tags open. You'll want to have your tags laying flat on your work area. Take the materials that you have chosen to put in the shaker part of your tag and lay them on the bottom tag window. Then slowly press together the two tags. Punch a hole at the top and add raffia, cording or whatever might like. I have used wire ribbon.

6. Complete your card however you chose by using scrapping paper laid over your cardstock and stamping or by just stamping on your card. Then adhere your tag to your card. You can then add any other embellishments you choose to your card. I use scrap paper for my background and stamp randomly around my card.
